How old do you have to be to go to Dragon Con?
We offer interactive events and social activities for ages 7-12. Keep up with us on Facebook. Please note, kids 7 years of age or older will be required to have their own membership badge. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Is the Dragon Con parade happening?
Dragon Con is back with in-person events in 2021, but there are many changes. The five-day convention and parade have been an annual Labor Day Weekend tradition in Atlanta since 1987. In 2020, it was reinvented as a virtual event. The parade begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 4th.

Who started DragonCon?
Chipping in $300 each, Pat Henry, David Cody, John Bunnell and Robert Dennis rounded out with a few of their friends planned the first Dragon Con for the fall of 1987. With no track record to lean on, they nevertheless managed to attract top name guests.
What should I wear to Dragon Con?
Please wear appropriate (or at least enough) clothing in the common areas. If you think you can make money doing it at Dragon Con, it’s probably not allowed unless you have written permission from the convention.
How long is Dragon Con?
Dragon Con membership covers all five days (including Thursday programming), panels, events, demonstrations, concerts, performances, contests, snacks and munchies in our Consuite (as available) and a host of other activities.
