Why is my background not transparent in After Effects?
After Effects: Rendering RGB+A In order for your video file to maintain transparency, you must export in a format that supports an Alpha Channel. When creating a Render Proxy in After Effects, navigate to the Output Module Settings and under Video Output, set the Channels to “RGB + Alpha”.
Can MP4 have transparent background?
MP4 in it’s current variation and format cannot have transparency at all. Exporting your files into this format will be completely flattened.

Why is my PNG black?
That’s not an error or a glitch, that’s just a design that didn’t take into consideration the possibility of PNG images with black parts on top of transparent parts. All you can do is convert your PNG files to JPEG, which will turn transparent parts to white.
Why is my PNG showing a black background?
Photoshop cannot properly display PNG files that have indexed color for transparency because of the way the transparency data is embedded in the alpha palette versus being stored in a separate alpha mask. In this case, with the transparency data unable to be read, the image background turns black.

The only way to create a video with a transparent background is to have it initially shot in front of a green screen. Once you upload a green screen video to VSDC (or any other video editor that has the Chroma Key tool), you can remove the green color from it, thus leaving the background transparent.
