What is water swing?
Towering steel swing set holding arrays of mechanical solenoids that create a water plane falling in the path of its riders. Formed from a tangent of ideas raised from the study of interactions of water as space, the swing is the first in a series that play with interaction in rides and installations.
How does a waterfall swing work?
Water recirculates through 384 independently controlled solenoid valves at the top of the structure to create a wall of water. The computer then creates a hole in the wall of water, allowing the rider to swing through without getting wet.
