Current APHA members can access their horse’s information online for free. After you login, select “Bronze (My APHA)” on the right side of the page, then “My APHA (Home)”. Click “My Horses” and select your horse’s registered name to view the two-generation pedigree and photo.
How do you qualify for the APHA World Show?
Qualification Criteria: All horses (Regular Registry and Solid Paint-Bred) must qualify to participate at the APHA Open/Amateur World Championship Show. In order to qualify to compete at the Open/Amateur World Show, all horses must compete at two (2) different APHA-approved show events during the qualifying period.
Do you have to qualify for APHA World Show?
Now, the World Show’s “qualification by participation” requirement has been permanently waived, resulting in greater ability for all APHA members to participate in the APHA World Championship Show with their beloved Paint Horses.

Superior Event– awarded to the horse who earns 50 or more points in one event. Champion– awarded to the horse that earns at least 40 points in a minimum of five shows, contests, or races and under five or more judges.

The Register Of Merit (ROM) is a title awarded by a breed’s parent club to recognize sires and dams whose offspring have earned a notable number of titles in conformation and/or performance competition. The Register Of Merit title is a permanent suffix to the dog’s registered name.
