I use them sometimes late in the season and once in awhile early on heavily hunted waters. When Mojos first came out they were banned in some states, Minnesota for one. Something else to carry and they’re kinda heavy, but IMHO they work and are worth the $.

And definitely don’t drop the Mojo in the water – can attest that these things are not waterproof – however Mojo has excellent customer service.
Can you use mojo in the rain?
Its good as long as you dont completely submerge it under water, like cell phones, they dont dont respond well to that. Had an ice sheet knock one over once in 3.5 feet of water.
How effective are Mojo decoys?

Are Mojo fishing poles any good?
The poles that come with mojo’s were too short for the area that I was hunting. Bought these guys and now they sit far enough out if the water that they actual appear to be landing. Plastic broke off after about 2 times out. In general has not had good quality.

Why does my mojo have a circular bit on it?
Very confused as to why these MOJO poles have a circular bit that the MOJO inserts to when MOJOs have square connectors. Just be alert and check your MOJOs. If your MOJOs have square connectors they will not work with these poles. The poles that come with mojo’s were too short for the area that I was hunting.
Is it possible to put two poles together?
1) you can put poles together, but the holes where you put the metal pin you use to drive between the poles to keep them together does not work for my set. 2) poles will bend if you put a heavy mojo (king mallard) on top of just two poles.
