What is UrgoStart used for?
Technology Technology UrgoStart (Urgo Medical) is an interactive dressing for treating diabetic foot ulcers and leg ulcers. It consists of a layer of open-weave polyester mesh impregnated with hydrocolloid polymers within a petroleum jelly known as technology lipido- colloid (TLC).
How do you use UrgoStart dressing?
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Cleanse the wound bed as per your local protocol.
- Dry the surrounding skin carefully.
- Apply the soft-adherent side of UrgoStart Plus Pad or UrgoStart Plus Border directly to the wound ensuring contact with the wound bed.
- UrgoStart Plus Pad can be cut using sterile scissors if required.
What is Urgo dressing?
UrgoKTwo is a multicomponent system that combines a long-stretch bandage and a short-stretch bandage, giving you the best of both worlds. UrgoKTwo is for all patients with venous and mixed leg ulcers, with and without oedema.
What is UrgoClean dressing used for?
UrgoClean pad is indicated from the debridement and desloughing phase of chronic exuding wounds (leg ulcers, pressure sores, diabetic foot ulcers including malum perforans pedis) and potentially sloughy wounds: acute wounds (burns, dermabrasions, traumatic wounds), postoperative wounds, oncological wounds.
Can UrgoStart be cut?
UrgoStart Contact can be cut using sterile equipment to fit the dressing to the wound. 2. Cover UrgoStart Contact with a secondary dressing suitable to absorb the level of wound exudate and hold the secondary dressing in place with tape or a retention bandage.
What is UrgoStart plus?
UrgoStart Plus is indicated for all stages (from the desloughing stage to complete healing) of exuding wounds including leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, and long standing acute wounds.

How long can you use UrgoClean AG for?
UrgoClean Ag dressings should be changed every 1 to 2 days during the wound desloughing phase, then as often as required (up to 7 days) depending on the exudate volume and the clinical condition of the wound. The maximal duration of the treatment with UrgoClean Ag is one month.
