What is Talas on Fox forks?
TALAS stands for Travel Adjustable Linear Air Spring, and while the name remains, the spring curve is not linear. Fox engineers developed an entirely new adjustable-travel air spring that closely resembles those used in Float forks. The difference in travel remains 30mm—changing from 130mm to 120mm in the low setting.
How much is a SAG Fox 34?
Sag should be set to 15 – 20% of total fork travel To achieve the best performance from your FOX suspension, adjust the air pressure to attain your proper sag setting. Sag is the amount your suspension compresses under your weight and riding gear. Sag range should be set to 15–20% of total fork travel.
What PSI is Fox 34?
34 TALAS maximum air pressure is 200 psi. The recommended settings in this tuning guide are designed to be a starting point, in order to get you out on your first ride in as few steps as possible.
How do you adjust a Fox Talas?
Turning the TALAS lever toward the “+” (clockwise) sets your fork in the long travel mode. When adjusting to long travel mode, your fork will extend once unweighted. Turning the TALAS lever toward the “-” (counter-clockwise) and compressing the fork sets your fork in short travel mode.

What PSI should my FOX shock be?
Add air pressure to the main air chamber in ~50 psi (3.4 bar) increments, slowly cycling the shock after every 50 psi (3.4 bar) addition. Set your main air chamber to between 50-300psi to prepare to set sag as described in the “Setting Shock Air Pressure” section below.
How do I add air to my Fox 34 fork?
Setting Fork Air Pressure
- Unscrew the blue air cap on top of the left fork leg counter-clockwise to expose the Schrader valve.
- Attach a FOX High Pressure Pump to the Schrader valve.
- Pump your fork to the appropriate pressure as listed in the ‘Suggested starting points for setting sag’ table below, then remove the pump.
How much travel does a Fox 32 have?
The Fox 32 Factory fork is available in both 29″ and 650b wheels with 120mm of travel, a 15mm through-axle and a tapered steerer.
What is Fox Float Fluid?
