What is specialscoil Mhuire like?
Scoil Mhuire is a rural school in the heart of Meelick, Co. Clare. Although the school is in Co. Clare we are located just a few kilometres from the suburbs of Limerick city. We are an 8 teacher school with 140 pupils. In September 2014 a new purpose built extension of 3 classrooms opened in addition to upgraded yard space.
What are the extra curricular activities at Meelick?
Meelick, Co. Clare. The school has a staff of seven which includes two Resource teachers and one Learning Support teacher. Extra curricular activities include music, swimming, speech and drama. The school competes in the Clare Primary Schools hurling and football leagues, Feile Luimni, Feile na hInse and the Credit Union quiz.
