Should I use Tale of Two wastelands?
There’s zero crossover between the two games stories. If you don’t want to play any of FNV’s story then just don’t take the train to the mojave. I would recommend TTW to anyone that wanted to play FO3. Usually I’d say play the base game before introducing mods that change things like mechanics, but FO3 is an exception.

Re: NVSE or TTW in MO2? You use the “Tale of Two Wastelands” one. The TTW installer patches the game exe so it automatically runs NVSE.
Does TTW work with Vortex?
Maybe other people are interested. Because i couldn’t get MO2 to run properly, i tried running TTW with several mods (both TTW specific mods and NV mods (bounty hunter series for example)) with Vortex. After a little trial and error, everything runs quite smoothly for me.

How can I check? – Launch NV, then open the console and type “GetNVSEVersion” (without the quotes). It should print back “NVSE version: 1”. If this works, then NVSE is working properly.
Does Fallout 3 support vortex?
