Mock Trial is a competition in which students simulate a real trial. The trial concerns an official AMTA case that remains the same through the entire academic year. Teams have 5 minutes for opening statements, nine minutes for closing statements and rebuttal, and 25 minutes for their case-in-chief (not including cross-examination). A Mock Trial round lasts about 3 hours.
