As a precautionary measure Buscopan is not recommended during pregnancy. There is insufficient information on the excretion of hyoscine butylbromide and its metabolites in human milk. A risk to the breastfeeding child cannot be excluded. Use of Buscopan during breastfeeding is not recommended.
