Is Durham Lumiere free?
The festival is completely free to attend and 24 of the 37 installations are accessible without a ticket at all times. 9 artworks are in the ticketed central peninsula of Durham City (Pink zone: Market Place, Saddler Street, Silver Street, Palace Green, North and South Baileys, Prebends Bridge and Riverside).
What time does Durham Lumiere?
While most of the installations dotted around the city will be accessible to all during Lumiere’s 4.30pm to 11pm opening hours, those positioned in the city centre, including the Market Place and Palace Green, will for the first time require time slot tickets.
Can dogs go to Lumiere?
Are dogs allowed? Guide dogs are welcome at Lumiere but due to the number of people expected to attend it is unsuitable for family pets.
How long is Lumiere?
Each film is 17 meters long, which, when hand cranked through a projector, runs approximately 50 seconds.

Can you take dogs to Lumiere Durham?
Are dogs allowed? Guide dogs are welcome at Lumiere London, but due to the number of people expected to attend it’s unsuitable for family pets. In the interests of everyone’s comfort and experience, we ask that only assistance dogs are brought to the festival.

Are drinks free at Lumiere Casino?
No Free Drinks 🙁 It’s not the casino’s fault because it is a state law but we were unaware that we had to pay for drinks. So we went to waste some money but after getting charged for our first drinks we bounced.
