Is a helical LSD good for drifting?
the reason a helical lsd doesn’t work well for drifting is because you want to loose traction to get the rear wheels to slide. so in other words, you are looking for very little traction to cause the rear to swing out. a helical diff works by biasing torque from one side to the other side.
What is the best differential for racing?

i drive mine daily with a welded diff. Just take it easy in the wet and youll be fine. It definatly promted understeer in the car espically in the wet when driving, the fixed rear wheels try to force the front wheels in a straight line even when your turning!
