Is Crown white gas as good as Coleman?
The Crown fuel is generally 25% cheaper than Coleman fuel at most stores carrying both, but I wondered if it delivered the same performance. As far as I can tell, Crown makes basically a clone Coleman fuel. Naptha + rust inhibitor. Same odor, same lighting and burn properties.
Can you use unleaded gas in a Coleman stove?
Unleaded gasoline at the store is a lower grade of white gas with additives…. And yes it works just fine in ANY of my Coleman lanterns and stoves for over 30 yrs now…. You MUST clean the generator, spring, and needle valve rod inside there once in a while with either fuel anyway.
