How is infliximab supplied?
Infusions every 8 weeks after 3 induction doses. REMICADE® is administered by intravenous (IV) infusion over a period of not less than 2 hours.

Can Remicade cause liver damage?
Long-term use of Remicade may cause severe liver disease, including liver failure, hepatitis, and blockage of enzymes from your liver. Some of these enzymes are needed to process certain drugs. Blockage can lead to higher levels of these drugs in your body and lead to more side effects.
How do you feel after infliximab infusion?
Although the infusion should not make you feel drowsy and you should be able to continue with normal activities, you may feel tired afterwards. You may be given medication to reduce possible side effects and some of these can cause drowsiness.
