How does a Tyron band work?
In the event of a flat tyre, Tyron bands lock the tyre onto the wheel, preventing the tyre from lifting and the wheel touching the road surface. While it won’t prevent the tyre from deflating, it will allow you to keep steering and control braking so you can continue for up to 5 miles and find a safe place to stop.
How do I know if my Tyron band is fitted?

- Fit Tire As Normal And Inflate To Set The Bead. Then Deflate The Tire And Place The Center Base Under The Wheel.
- Place Spider on Tire And Adjust Legs To Rest On Tire.
- Screw On Handle.
- Compress The Tire To Expose The Well.
- Slide In The Tyron Band.
- Using The Ratchet, Tighten The Band And Torque To 12Nm.
