How do you weight down wedding cake pool steps?
Yes You Can! We use what is commonly known as Wedding Cake steps in our above-ground pool. The manufacturer recommends two 50 pound bags of sand as weights in the space provided inside the bottom step but we’ve never been comfortable with that method.
What can I use to weigh down pool steps?
A plastic, hand-size dumbbell set also can be used to hold the steps in place. You can secure one to each side of the step with a small plastic bungee cord or nylon rope. If the dumbbells are the type that you need to fill, use clean sand and make sure they are closed tightly.

When used with SĀFTRON anchor sockets and bases, or installed directly into the deck, no grounding/bonding is required. The current NEC code shows that SĀFTRON pool rails do not need to be grounded or bonded as the rails are sealed at the time of manufacturing.

Yes, the instructions state that the bottom of the ladder must sit on the floor of the pool. It is recommended to put a ladder mat underneath the area that the ladder will rest (as not to damage the liner).
