How do you administer azacytidine?
VIDAZA suspension is administered subcutaneously. Rotate sites for each injection (thigh, abdomen, or upper arm). New injections should be given at least one inch from an old site and never into areas where the site is tender, bruised, red, or hard.

It is thought to have antineoplastic activity via two mechanisms – at low doses, by inhibiting of DNA methyltransferase, causing hypomethylation of DNA, and at high doses, by its direct cytotoxicity to abnormal hematopoietic cells in the bone marrow through its incorporation into DNA and RNA, resulting in cell death.

How do you dissolve 5 azacytidine?
This product is soluble in acetic acid:water (1:1 v/v) (5 mg/ml). It is also soluble in tissue culture medium (1.2 mg/10 ml). Once dissolved, this stock solution can then be diluted further in aqueous medium.
Is fluorouracil a vesicant?
