Hold down both the volume down button and the Windows button at the centre of the bottom of the tablet. The screen will dim a little without any message but it is actually already saved in the Windows Picture folder.

Full credit to Argos, who gave a full refund without any argument, but it’s interesting that they no longer have any local stock of the Linx, nor are they expecting any more. So either an upgraded version is coming out, or Argos are dropping the brand. I’m currently on the hunt for a replacement Windows tablet for her.
Is the HP Linx a good replacement for netbooks?
Paired with the optional keyboard case which conveniently docks onto the foot of the tablet and holds it upright with an ingenious folding rear flap, this 10-inch variant of the Linx is most definitely an adequate replacement for the netbooks which were once so popular.
