Summary – Sakamichi no Apollon is a straightforward and fun romance anime that fits the word “genuine” more than most others I’ve seen. The conclusion can only be described as botched, failing to grant the satisfaction one might have expected, but that doesn’t stop the show from being a great watch.

Kids on the Slope is just amazing. This anime will make you laugh, cry, and want more. Right from the start, I loved it, the style, the stylish music, the stylish animation, it is very reminiscent of Shinichirō Watanabe as it was also directed by himself as well. Kids on the Slope 「坂道のアポロン」 is quite a remarkable piece.

We saw Yurika pregnant with Brother Jun’s child, and she shows Kaoru a picture of priest-in-training Sentaro. He ends up going back to that town to have one last jam session with Sentaro. I loved this series and I loved the ending too. It wrapped up everything nicely and ended on a high note.
