Are furutech cables good?
The Furutech cable does an admirable job of avoiding any hint of over-sharp edge definition that can often be mistaken for detail but ultimately turns fatiguing. The soundstage was quieter, which allowed for low-level information to create more natural and less artificial sounding highs and smoother midrange delivery.
Are all CPU power cables the same?
In the US, that’s almost always 120V AC. The number on the power cable determines the maximum safe voltage for that power cable. Therefore, in the US, any cable rated to 120V or higher will work fine. Now, you do have to worry about the current printed on the cable.
Are CPU power cables universal?
Power cords for desktop computers are the same. There are regional differences due to the configuration of the plugs around the world, but that is it. If you have one that works in your area of the world on one desktop, it can be freely moved to any other desktop.

A 12V adapter is unlikely to damage the components, but it is possible depending on the design and that’s why I mentioned it. The likelihood is probably vey tiny though so you can probably ignore that bit.
What is the difference between a polarized and non polarized power cord?
An appliance with a polarized power cord has a NEMA 1-15P plug with prongs that match the outlet. It will only go in one way. An appliance with a nonpolarized power cord also has a NEMA 1-15P plug, but the prongs are identical, so it can go in either way.
